On 9 April 2025, our BUS385 Internet of Things (IoT) class visited the GS1 Hong Kong office, where students explored various applications of barcode and QR code technologies in the IoT landscape. During the visit, they learned how these technologies enhance supply chain efficiency and product traceability. The GS1 team showcased innovative solutions that utilize barcodes and QR codes for real-time inventory management, consumer engagement, and data analytics.
