HKYCOA Outstanding Internship Performance Award Presentation Ceremony 2022-23

The HKYCOA Outstanding Internship Performance Award was established to recognize the exceptional performance of Hong Kong Shue Yan University's students in industrial attachment courses. To support this initiative, the YCOA Scholarship and Grants Foundation Limited donated HK$40,000 per academic year to the Industrial Attachment Office of Hong Kong Shue Yan University to establish the Undergraduate Awards from the 2021/22 to 2023/24 academic years. Eligible for the award were all full-time undergraduate students in Year 2 to 4 who completed an industrial attachment course and demonstrated contributions in social services or community engagement activities.

Eligibility

  • The students must be full-time undergraduate students in Year 2 to 3 who have completed an industrial attachment course at the University.
  • Preference will be given to undergraduate students who have demonstrated contributions in social services or community engagement activities.

Nomination

Eligible students will be nominated by the Industrial Attachment Coordinators of each department between February and March of each academic year, based on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance in achieving the course intended learning outcomes (33%).
  • Work performance in fulfilling the job requirements from the workplace (33%).
  • Overall personal behavior and social commitment (33%).

Prize

Each industrial attachment course is allowed to nominate 3 students with the following prize:

  • 1st Prize
  • 2nd Prize
  • 3rd Prize
