I am a year 3 student from the Department of Business Administration and concentrate in Human Resource Management. I participated in the HKMA, Human Capital Management Society (HCMS) Scholarship competition 2016-2017 and gave my presentation on the topic of “Critically discuss how HR professionals can contribute to building business resilience in the challenging economic environment” on 25 March 2017. Ending with a good note, I am the 2nd Runner up and the Best Presentation awardee in the presentation seminar.

The competition is surely a valuable and eye-opening experience for me. Then, I would like to express my appreciation to my Human Resource Management Professor, Dr. Fanny Young, who is the coordinator of the Human Resource Management Concentration as well, for her effort and support. During the preparation period, Dr. Fanny Young met me 5 days a week to share her competition experience. Under her training, I have developed to be a much more confident person.

 Also, I would like to thank my peers from the Human Resource Management Concentration. 68 HKSYU HR students attended the presentation seminars to support me, including Year 3 and Year 4 HR students. Therefore, I would like to share this honour with HKSYU students and professors, especially the people in the Human Resource Management Concentration, who show their support all the way.
